Coinbase Card Adds Support for Google Pay

Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange Visa debit card Coinbase Card has integrated support for Google Pay.

Thus, Coinbase has become the very first company to enable mobile payments powered by crypto balances.

With Google Pay, Android users can pay for everything from daily travel to end-of-year getaways using their crypto in the safest possible way, an announcement states.

The new feature is available for clients in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Finland, France, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

The exchange claims it's also working on expanding to other European countries.

Earlier Coinbase added new functionality that allows its users to save on fees. The new feature allows the users of the platform to bundle their bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin) transactions, which in turn allows them to pay lower fees.

Access more than 50 of the world's financial markets directly from your EXANTE account – including NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange.
