Cryptocurrency exchange Huobi has launched a new commission-free trading mobile app called Huobi Lite that lets anyone trade major cryptocurrencies including bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin).
The app supports both iOS and Android operating systems. Based on the framework that powers the Huobi Global cryptocurrency exchange, Huobi Lite provides users with a simplified way to trade cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies including the US Dollar (USD), Vietnamese Dong (VND), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), and Chinese Yuan (RMB) via various payment methods, including credit cards.
Ciara Sun, VP of Global Business at Huobi says Huobi Lite gives users a simpler way to trade crypto "without sacrificing the trust, performance, and security they’ve come to expect from other Huobi products."
"The current process of buying and selling cryptocurrencies can be unnecessarily complex for the average person, so we’re distilling the experience down to a few easy steps," Sun added.
Previously the Chinese crypto exchange issued a statement in which clarified the situation regarding the recent takeover of the Steem blockchain network. The exchange admitted it stakes users' holdings "to block malicious activities" and possible attacks on blockchain networks.
