The Chinese crypto mining giant has just unveiled the specifications of its new Antminer S19 and S19 Pro models, which will be available in two versions each.
According to Bitmain, the Antminer S19 will be able to generate a hash power of 95 TH/s (90 TH/s in its second version), while its energy efficiency will reach 34.5±%5 J/TH.
On the other hand, the Antminer S19 Pro will be able to reach a hash power of up to 110 TH/s or 105 TH/s, while its energy efficiency will be 29.5±%5 J/TH.
Bitmain claims the Antminer S19 is equipped with a new generation chip manufactured by the company that allows it to reach an energy efficiency of up to 23 J/TH. This is possible thanks to the improvement of the circuit architecture. In addition, these devices will have a new firmware that increases the startup speed and adds an intelligent control mechanism.
"The next-generation Antminer 19 series showcases industry-leading technology from Bitmain, allowing miners to efficiently mine Bitcoin under the SHA256 algorithm. The new iteration of Antminers boasts superior performance, enabling miners to optimize earnings and is designed for better operations ensuring long-term operations."
The launch dates and the prices of the devices have not been disclosed.
