British multinational banking and financial services company Standard Chartered Bank has announced it appointed Kahina van Dyke a former Ripple Senior Vice President, Business & Corporate Development.

Kahina joined the bank as Global Head, Digital Channels and Client Data Analytics.

According to an official announcement, Kahina will serve at Standard Chartered’s Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking division by focusing on largest corporates, institutions and investors.

Standard Chartered CCIB Chief Executive Simon Cooper says Kahina will spearhead a talented team in taking the bank's data analytics and channel capabilities to the next level.

Earlier iHodl reported that the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), which is the country's oldest and largest bank, joined the Ripple payment blockchain network.
