Weiss Ratings Upgrades Bitcoin Rating to A-

US investment data company Weiss Ratings has upgraded Bitcoin rating to A- (excellent) due to its recent spectacular performance.

The firm has said through its official Twitter account:

"The Weiss Crypto Rating for #BTC is now A- (excellent), thanks to improving fundamentals and positive price action ahead of Bitcoin's next halving."

We should remember that at the end of March 2029 the company put Bitcoin aside EOS and XRP taking into account the adoption and technology of the coins at that time. However, the reference crypto is now well above the rating of these two altcoins, which have a C and B-, respectively.

This is not the only institution that ranks cryptocurrencies based on a series of factors. For example, the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) also periodically issues its own crypto ranking. In its latest ranking, Bitcoin ranks 11th.

Weiss Ratings' ratings should be considered as follows: A (excellent), B (good), C (fair), D (weak) and E (very weak).
