Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced it hired former TradingView COO as new Director of Fiat, Europe and CIS at the exchange.
According to the official announcement, Iskander Malikov will focus on establishing new fiat-to-crypto channels for Binance and regions throughout Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States.
Iskander will reportedly also deploy new business strategies and partnerships.
"I believe crypto is not only here to stay but will also create a new, alternative ecosystem capable of competing with traditional financial products and commonly known asset classes," Malikov said.
Previously Malikov worked at TradingView as Chief Operation Officer, where his responsibilities were aimed at the business development, partnerships and market data licensing among others, the announcement states.
Earlier iHodl reported that ex-head of a cryptocurrency exchange Binance Mariana Gospodinova left the exchange and joined Crypto.com, a crypto-focused payments platform as General Manager, Europe.
