Bitcoin is posting minor gains this morning. At press time, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap is trading at $9,276.04 (+0.04%), according to CoinMarketCap.
For its part, Ethereum has grown to $191.88 (+1.89%), while XRP has jumped by 11.6% and is now trading at $0.28.
FxPro's team of analysts say:
"Bitcoin has received support from buyers at around $9,100. As a result, the reference crypto is posting a slight increase this morning and is trading at around $9,250.
The fact that Bitcoin has been able to stop its fall near $9,100 is encouraging, as dropping below $9,000 could trigger a massive sell-off, dragging down the rest of altcoins.
The greed and fear index is at the 'neutral' level, which means a decrease in user demand, however, this still seems to be enough.
Whale Alert has reported that 49,922.168 BTCs ($458,100,300) were transferred yesterday to an address belonging to crypto exchange Bittrex, which could mean traders are preparing to sell their assets."
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, 9 currencies on the top 10 are in green.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $261,394,521,241.
