Binance Adds Support for Russian Ruble Purchase

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has added support for purchasing cryptocurrencies with Russian bank cards in the Visa system for rubles.

According to the official announcement, bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin), ethereum (ETH), ripple (XRP) and binance coin (BNB) are available for purchase with Russian rubles.

To use the option, the exchange users should go to the "Buy Crypto" page, select an amount of RUB, click next, and then click "Add Card" to bind their Visa card.

Binance and OKEx Cut Fees for Withdrawing Bitcoin, Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens

Binance claims that innovation allows carrying out transactions in a minute without the need for a prior deposit of funds. The commission for the operation will be 1%.

Binance also plans to add support for Mastercard and other currencies in the foreseeable future.

Earlier iHodl reported that Binance entered into a strategic partnership discussion with the SoftBank subsidiary known as Yahoo Japan Inc. and local cryptocurrency trading platform TaoTao to launch joint cryptocurrency trading platform in Japan.
