Popular crypto custody service Anchorage has just announced it has added the possibility of storing and trading with Cosmos on its platform.

The company co-founder Diogo Monica has said the custodian also intends to allow Cosmos staking in the future.

Anchorage stands out from the rest of the services in the industry by offering a staking and custody service for a wide range of cryptos, including Stellar, Tezos, Zcash and many others.

Anchorage launched last month a crypto platform for institutional investors. This new brokerage service, dubbed Anchorage Trading, will allow institutional investors to store their cryptos with Anchorage so that they can trade directly from its platform. The number of available assets will increase in the future and clients will be able to suggest new cryptos for listing.

In addition, the custody service has also acquired the analysis company Merkle Data to expand the functionalities of its new crypto brokerage service. These two moves show the firm is working on its expansion and intends to focus more on providing custody services to institutions.
