Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency trading platforms, has just announced on a press release it has added support for the Australian dollar.

From now on, users will be able to use the Australian dollar in Binance's direct payment solution to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum directly with bank transfers or credit and debit cards.

This new functionality has been added to the platform thanks to the partnership between Binance and payment solution Banxa.

The association with Banxa has also allowed the addition of the Faster Payments Scheme (FPS) solution to the platform, which allows users to make almost instantaneous and low-fee payments with GBP. In addition, Banxa's solution also supports payments with euros.

According to the official announcement, Banxa and Binance plan to add more countries and currencies over the coming months.

The crypto exchange has recently made several improvements to its service. For instance, in November it was reported it had increased leverage for margin trading, while in December it launched its futures on its iOS app.
