Bitcoin has started the day in red. At press time, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap is trading at $7,277.71 (-2.16%).

For its part, Ethereum has fallen to $132.78 (-2.38%), while XRP has dropped by 2.01% and is now trading at $0.194.
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, all currencies on the top 10 are in red.
James Altucher said two years ago that by January 1, 2020, Bitcoin price would reach $1,000,000. In 2017, he noted there were around 15 million millionaires in the world whose financial advisors would convince them to invest in the reference crypto.
At that time, Bitcoin was trading at about $11,000 and would soon reach the $20,000 all-time high.
Even though Altucher later confirmed his forecast, he said Bitcoin would not reach that mark till 2021-2022.
The BTC dominance index remains unchanged at 68.2%.
