An American financial technology company Ripple (XRP) expects 2020 to be the year of the digital assets. According to the official blog post, the next year will trigger the appearance of new techs and apps for the digital assets industry that can lead "to meaningful, tangible change across a wide range of industries."
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expects half of the leading 20 financial institutions in the world will actively hold and trade digital assets in 2020.
"He is also one of many on the team that believes fiat currencies will go digital in the next year," the blog post highlights.
Previously iHodl reported that Ripple raised $200 million through Series C funding round for global adoption of the XRP token.
