A Taiwanese consumer electronics company HTC Corporation is conducting job restructuring to focus on other areas such as mobile communications, blockchain or virtual reality, a local news outlet Liberty Times reports.
As it states, HTC will specifically focus its resources on Cosmos and Exodus 1s, the blockchain mobile phones that will become the most cutting-edge products in their respective fields.
The news outlet states that retired employees can still get full year-end bonuses. At press time, HTC hasn't replied to the Liberty Times' article.
Earlier iHodl reported that Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by adjusted trading volume, is collaborating with mobile phone maker HTC to develop smartphones compatible with Binance Chain.
