For its part, Ethereum has decreased to $141.65 (-0.83%), while XRP has fallen 2% and is now trading at $0.214.
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, 9 currencies on the top 10 are posting losses.
Bitcoin price is approaching the $7,000 level. Even though pressure from bears has not been enough to push its price below this mark, this is likely to happen in the near future. The crypto has been suffering a side trend for 3 weeks now, and we must bear in mind this situation usually ends in sell-offs. Bakkt launched its cash-settled bitcoin futures last week. The trading volumes of this new investment instrument was pretty impressive at first, surpassing September's levels. However, this does not seem to have had any effect on the crypto's price.
The BTC dominance index has fallen from last Friday's 66.6% to 66.5%.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $193,481,024,933.
