The experts of popular US investment bank Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) have talked about the best and worst assets in terms of investment efficiency of the last 10 years.
According to them, bitcoin is the best investment of this decade, claiming that investors who invested $1 in 2010 now have $90,026.
Just as a comparison, $1 invested in 2010 in the traditional US stock market now has a value of $3.46.
Regarding the other side of the coin, according to the bank, the worst asset in 10 years is the kyat, Myanmar's national currency, as since 2010 $1 invested in it now has a value of just $0.004.
At the end of 2017 bitcoin price skyrocketed to $20,000. As a result of that outstanding increase, the first investors in the cryptocurrency got spectacular gains. However, the market's largest cryptocurrency has not been able to approach that level since then.
