According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, 7 currencies on the top 10 are in green.
Over the past 24 hours, the reference cryptocurrency has barely changed its price and is currently trading at around $7,200. This is bad news for cryptocurrencies in general, since if Bitcoin remains at the same level for a long time, it is pretty likely that the market will suffer a sell-off. Long-term secondary trends have ended in sell-offs in the past, something that investors remember really well. As a result, if the price of the main crypto by market cap does not gain boost, investors will probably start selling their assets when they run out of patience. The influence of Bitcoin halving is being questioned, and for that reason, the market needs to find new catalysts.
The BTC dominance index has grown from yesterday’s 66.6% to 66.7%.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $196,765,025,051.
