For its part, Ethereum has fallen to $146.26 (-0.89%), while XRP has dropped by 0.7% and is currently trading at $0.222.

According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, all currencies on the top 10 are posting losses.

Bitcoin is dropping slightly to the $7,000 level after losing almost 2% over the last 24 hours. Long lateral trends have never been positive for the crypto, and it looks like this time the situation is not going to change. The current fall has coincided with an increase in trading volumes. A significant decline below the $7,000 mark could trigger a massive sale of both bitcoin and other altcoins.

The BTC dominance index has fallen from yesterday’s 67% to 66.7%.

As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $197,192,326,886.
