Co-Founder of a fintech company Circle Sean Neville will step down as co-CEO of the company at the end of December, Yahoo! Finance reports.

Neville claims he felt it an "appropriate" moment for the transition in leadership. However, Neville will remain as Circle's board member and continue working with, CENTRE, a stablecoin-issuer company.

Sean Neville co-created Circle together with Jeremy Allaire back in 2014.

Earlier iHodl reported that Circle moved its operations offshore with a new office in Bermuda due to "mounting regulatory pressures in the United States."
