Joong-Ho claims the cryptocurrency wallet, which is developed by Ground X, a subsidiary of the company specialized in blockchain, will be released in the first quarter of next year and will be installed in KakaoTalk messenger.

Joong-Ho adds Ground X is also working on user-friendly services such as web browser-based digital wallet 'Cicas', a blockchain-based identity authentication system, and a library for developers.

Last year, Kakao introduced a blockchain platform called 'Klaytn.'

The main use of Klaytb is to make blockchain more affordable and applicable for end-users by eliminating traditional inconveniences such as wallets, private keys, and cryptograph addresses.
