An American professor Nouriel Roubini (Dr.Doom) who teaches at New York University's Stern School of Business has recently twitted that ethereum's fundamental value is equal to zero.
Roubini believes that ETH is worth negative "given all the toxic externalities of energy waste and pollution that its mining generates."
Crypto-Apocalypse: Ethereum down 90% from the peak, in free fall and now close to the 2018 low. Still a long way from zero that is its fundamental value. Actually it is worth negative given all the toxic externalities of energy waste and pollution that its mining generates

Last year, Roubini in his article published in the influential British newspaper the Guardian described that the world is inexorably moving towards digitalization, and the traditional fiat currency will sooner or later fade in history.
In the meantime, ETH is trading at $152,00 (+3,02%), according to CoinMarketCap.
Earlier iHodl reported that a group of hackers has attacked the South Korean crypto trading platform Upbit and stolen 60 billion won (about $50M) in cryptocurrencies.
