TransferGo, a popular UK-based payments firm, is exploring the possibility of integrating Ripple's XRP-based solution.
This is not the first cooperation between both companies, since the British company is currently using the RippleNet solution.
Now the company wants to make payments even faster. Daumantas Dvilinskas, TransferGo co-founder and CEO, has said that by 2020 "even a few minutes will be too slow,” which is the reason why they have decided to use Ripple's On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) system, which provides an almost instant conversion between fiat currencies using XRP.
Both companies started their cooperation in September last year with the aim of helping Indian workers send money to their families through RippleNet. However, this service is now available to any European citizen interested in sending funds to Indian banks.
iHodl has reported this morning that MoneyGram plans to use Ripple's ODL solution to speed up its payments.
