Tesla CEO Elon Musk has unveiled a new electric pickup truck the Cybertruck with a futuristic design.

Cybertruck will be available in three versions starting at $39,900. The younger model has a 402 km long battery life, an average 482 km, and the biggest one — 805 km. The cost of the latest version will be $69,900.

The carrying capacity of the model is up to 1.6 tons. Cybertruck was introduced as a vehicle that provides maximum passenger protection: the body is made of heavy-duty stainless steel, the same alloy is used for SpaceX rockets.

Mask claims that the car can withstand shelling from a 9 mm pistol, and the windows are armored using the company's own technology. However, when Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen threw a metal ball into the glass, it did not break but cracked. Musk said: "We will fix this in the production."

Production will be launched in 2021, and now anyone can make $100 for pre-order, and decide on the settings closer to the start of production.
