Popular p2p crypto trading platform LocalEthereum has just added support for bitcoin, the company has reported through a blog post.

In addition, the company has decided to change its name to better reflect the activities of the business. While so far it was only compatible with ethereum, now it also allows users to trade with bitcoin, which is why the name LocalEthereum has become obsolete.

The platform has been renamed to LocalCryptos, as it plans to add more cryptos apart from bitcoin and ethereum in the future:

"LocalCryptos will list some of the most popular Ethereum-based tokens over time. We’ll develop a new smart contract to handle ERC20s, and, in the more distant future, ERC721s."

This move comes just one day after it was known LocalBitcoins had received a license by the Finnish regulator to operate as a virtual currency provider in the country.
