Vietnamese bank Tien Phong Commercial (TPBank) has announced it successfully implemented international money transfer via the RippleNet blockchain-focused technology.

As the official announcement states, starting from the beginning of November 2019, cross-border transfers via TPBank will be faster, more convenient and safer than ever before.

"TPBank customers will not have to wait for a few hours to make a money transfer from Japan to TPBank account as from now on, using RippleNet, it will only take a few minutes to complete transactions," notes the announcement.

Earlier iHodl reported that ranked 9th on the list of largest banks in the United States by assets, PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., integrated RippleNet technology into its cross-border payments, so clients in the U.S. can receive payments from an overseas without any limitations, instantly and transparently.
