A self-proclaimed bitcoin creator Craig Wright has failed to settle the case with the Kleiman's.

According to the court documents, Wright informed Ira Kleiman, a personal representative of David Kleiman, without any advance notice, that he cannot finance a 500,000 BTC ($4.5 billion) settlement.

Previously Weight asked the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida for a 30-day extension, as, according to him, he "almost settled the case and the parties have reached mutual understanding."

"On October 30, without any advance notice, Plaintiffs were informed Craig could no longerfinance the settlement and was "breaking" the non-binding settlement agreement," the document says.

Earlier iHodl reported that Craig Wright has to give 50% of the bitcoins he mined between 2009 and 2011 as well as the intellectual property associated with the bitcoin software he developed during that period to David Kleiman's relatives.
