The largest derivatives crypto exchange BitMEX has leaked thousands of user private data. Some clients of the exchange received letters containing the email addresses of other users.
BitMEX representatives claim they took "immediate action" to fix the problem.
The scale of the leak has not yet been reported.
In the meantime, the other cryptocurrency exchange Binance has encouraged its users to change email addresses if they are used for accounts on several exchanges.
Earlier iHodl reported that BitMEX reached the $8.67 billion in the volume of bitcoin futures.
