The Co-Founder and CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), has said in its Twitter post that bitcoin is about to hit the $16,000 mark very soon.
At press time, the largest by market cap cryptocurrency bitcoin (EXANTE: BTC. EXANTE) is trading at $9204 (-0,61%) according to CoinMarketCap.
While bitcoin's future in the middle-term is still not determined, a Canadian investment fund manager 3iQ Corp announced it received permission from the Ontario Securities Commission regarding the listing of the Bitcoin Fund on a major Canadian stock exchange.
Previously, the Association of German Banks, which includes over 200 banks, issued an official statement according to which, they admit that digital money has great potential that can be a key component "in the next stage of the evolution of digitalization."
