CoinList, a cryptocurrency startup, has just announced it plans to launch a crypto exchange and a wallet after receiving an investment from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

Dorsey, who is known as a blockchain advocate, has reportedly invested an undisclosed amount in the crypto startup during its latest funding round, in which the company has raised a total of $10M, the Wall Street Journal reports.

CoinList has been working since 2017 as a platform to help other startups raise capital through several tools, including token sales and airdrops.

However, it has announced it now plans to enter the exchange market with the launch of its own trading platform and wallet.

Jack Dorsey has said:

"Crypto needs a trustworthy platform for launching new projects. CoinList leads the industry in that role, and trading is a logical next step."

iHodl reported in May that Andy Bromberg, the co-founder of CoinList, is no longer dependent on bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETF).
