Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has criticized Facebook's upcoming digital asset Libra, iHodl Russia reports. When Dorsey was asked whether Twitter could become a member of the Libra Association, Dorsey negatively replied.
"Hell no. Cryptocurrency wasn’t necessary to make that thing work. Born out of a company’s intention (not need) and that’s not consistent with what I personally believe and what I want our company to stand for," Dorsey said.
Earlier Dorsey claimed that in the foreseeable future the Internet will definitely have its own native currency, and probably this currency will be bitcoin (EXANTE: BTC.EXANTE).
