The Poloniex cryptocurrency exchange received an application for listing the Telegram Open Network asset GRAM from the Telegram team right before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) haltered the launch of TON, iHodl Russia reports.

The application was submitted by the Head of Custodian Gram Vault and COO of crypto exchange Blackmoon Sergey Vasin.

According to Vasin, Gram Vault stores 50% of tokens from the first round and 75% of tokens from the second round of sales. Vasin also said that Telegram itself does not work with exchanges.

The SEC also asked Telegram for information on possible GRAM listing on the Coinbase, Poloniex, Bittrex, Huobi, Binance, Blackmoon and Liquid exchanges.

Earlier iHodl reported that law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, acting on behalf of Telegram Group Inc. and Ton Issuer Inc., notified a U.S. court that Telegram decided to put off the launch of its TON blockchain platform.

Moreover, previously one of the leading bank-backed cryptocurrency fintech companies Circle separated its way with Poloniex.
