China's agency for Internet regulation, censorship, supervision and control, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), has just released its second list of registered blockchain service providers, 8BTC reported yesterday.

This new list includes 309 companies from different sectors, such as education, law, health, and supply chain, among others. Some of the most popular are HiCloud and AliCloud, Huawei's and Alibaba's subsidiaries.

However, this list also includes more traditional firms that are not directly related to the tech industry, such as China Southern Airlines, which is developing its own blockchain platform, or the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

This list does not only include commercial companies. For example, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange has been included because it is working on a blockchain-based platform for cross-border payments.

Earlier this month iHodl reported that China's was hiring 6 experts to develop its digital currency.
