Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has just announced the launch of the EXODUS 1s, its new blockchain smartphone.

According to the official announcement, this new device, which has been released just 6 months after the company announced it was developing it, allows its users to run full bitcoin nodes.

The EXODUS 1s is a cheaper version of the EXODUS 1, the company's flagship that was launched in October last year.

The main feature that differentiates this smartphone from standard smartphones is that it will have a built-in crypto wallet and will allow its users to run full bitcoin nodes.

Although the phone features such a powerful capability, its hardware is not very impressive. It has a 5.7-inch HD display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The device will initially be available in Europe, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
