The Chinese mining giant has completed the construction of a mining center in Rockdale, Texas.
The company has said that the construction of the farm, which has capacity to 25 MW, started last year. According to Bitmain, its capacity will soon be increased 50 MW and might reach 300 MW in the future, which "would make this center the largest mining farm in the world."
John King, the Mayor of Rockdale, has said Bitmain will develop new industrial projects in Texas.
This is the third mining project supported by the company in the USA.
DMG, which has collaborated with Bitmain in the development of this mining center, will provide hosting and management services to this new facility.
Bitmain suspended its mining operations in Texas in early 2019 as a result of the reorganization of the business.
