Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced the launch of a USDC Rewards campaign which is focused on rewarding the exchange's clients with 1.25% APY rewards on every USD Coin they hold on Coinbase.
The exchange states USDC Rewards is a way for its customers to earn a return on USD Coin holdings "without having to sell or transact any cryptocurrency."
Coinbase also highlights that the percentage rate of rewards is the same no matter of balance.
"The more USD Coins you hold, the more rewards you will automatically earn, all with no additional costs or fees. USD Coin rewards accrue daily, and customers will maintain complete control over their USD Coins at all times," states the official announcement.
Earlier iHodl reported that Coinbase is about to issue its own token and launch an IEO service.
According to Coinbase’s Head of Institutional Sales in Asia, Kayvon Pirestani, the company believes there is a really interesting opportunity for the exchange in the IEO sector.
