Revolut Partners with Visa

London-based fintech startup Revolut has just teamed up with US financial corporation Visa to expand Revolut's services to 24 countries, according to a joint official press release.

The first phase of Revolut's expansion is expected to take place in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Russia, Singapore and the United States. Later, its services will also be expanded to Argentina, Chile, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine and Vietnam.

Both companies have already been collaborating for 4 years, however Revolut started issuing Visa cards to its customers in Europe in 2017.

Nikolay Storonsky, founder and chief executive officer of Revolut, said:

"We are excited to build upon our existing collaboration with Visa, the world’s leader in digital payments, which will bring to life our shared vision for seamless, innovative payment experiences."

Revolut has been leading global financial innovation in recent years.
