Independent Ukrainian news source Ligamedia has recently reported that the Ukrainian government is considering legalizing cryptocurrencies.

Alexander Bornyakov, Ukraine's deputy minister of digital transformation, has recently said that the ministry's head, Mikhail Fedorov, plans to authorize the legalization of cryptocurrencies.

Bornyakov has stressed that even though cryptos are already present in the country, their legalization will be beneficial both for their users and the government, which will collect taxes.

Bornyakov crypto users "want to operate legally and pay taxes."

The legalization of cryptocurrencies is part of a government's larger plan to facilitate interaction between users and the government.
