Digital asset ecosystem Ripple has acquired cryptocurrency startup Logos, a crypto-payments solution focused on speed and scalability.

According to an announcement, Logos will be joining Xpring, a Ripple's initiative, to expand the vision of building the Internet of Value.

From now on, Michael Zochowski, Logos’s founder and CEO will reportedly serve as Xpring’s Head of DeFi Products.

"The Logos team will bring even more horsepower to what the Xpring team can deliver," states the announcement.

Previously iHodl reported that Ripple's investment initiative Xpring in cooperation with Blockchain Finance Fund invested $1.5 million in Coinme, cryptocurrency kiosks and blockchain financial services company.
