bitFlyer, a popular Tokyo-based crypto exchange, has just announced it is listing 5 new altcoins on its European and US platforms.
According to the company's announcement, which was published on September 23, the trading platform plans to add 5 new altcoins to its platform in Europe: Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, litecoin, Lisk and Monacoin. However, at the moment its US users will only have access to Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic and litecoin.
These cryptocurrencies were already available to the Japanese users of the platform, so technically, the company is not adding new crypto assets, it is simply making them available to a larger number of users.
Andy Bryant, co-head of bitFlyer Europe, said:
"By adding new altcoins, we are expanding bitFlyer’s Buy/Sell offer significantly, giving our customers instant access to some of the largest and most exciting altcoins in the world. By leveraging our experience in Japan, we can offer our European and US customers the same level of speed, simplicity and transparency as we already do for those trading Bitcoin and Ethereum."
iHodl Spain reported back in July that the exchange had just launched a service for buying and selling cryptocurrencies in the European Union.
