Binance.US, Binance's US subsidiary, has just announced users can already register accounts in the platform.
However, the trading platform has reported that residents in 13 states will not be able to register an account. The affected states are Alabama, Alaska, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Vermont and Washington.
The announcement says:
"Although it is upsetting that we cannot offer Binance.US in the states where I grew up and earned my education at this time, please rest assured that this is just the beginning, and it is our mission to bring access to those of you in these states many of us call home."
After the platform enables the registration process, users must complete a verification process in order to deposit funds in bitcoin, ethereum, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Tether and USD.
The exchange will not charge any trading fee until November 1.
