South Korean multinational electronics company LG Electronics Inc. is about to start developing blockchain-based smartphones, iHodl Russia reports.

As it states, the South Korean tech giant has conducted a study of the blockchain markets and dApps.

It is expected that LG's new devices will be some sort of respond to Samsung's blockchain products.

In the meantime, iHodl reported that Finney, the world's first blockchain smartphone, will go on sale in Bangladesh in October.

Earlier this year, Samsung released the much anticipated Galaxy S10 series and uncovered its main features. Among them: Samsung’s Knox security system, designed to store blockchain-based private keys.
