Facebook has just hired two new lobbyists to help it overcome all the regulatory obstacles its Libra project is facing.

Particularly, Facebook has hired William Hollier, president of Hollier Associates, who previously worked for Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. Hollier reportedly began offering his services to Facebook late last month.

The other new hire is Michael Williams of The Williams Group, who started working for Facebook in July. Williams has previously served as managing director for Credit Suisse Securities in the Public Policy Americas division, and currently has clients such as the American Financial Services Association and Delta Air Lines.

Ihodl reported last month that the social network had hired lobbyist firm FS Vector to help it deal with pressure on its Libra project, which clearly shows that Facebook is doing its best to deal with regulatory uncertainty.

Facebook's crypto project was announced on June 18, when the social network launched the project's website. The reaction of regulators and experts from all over the world was almost instantaneous due to the fact that the company's stablecoin could eventually have a great influence on the global economy considering Facebook's huge user base.
