A popular European cryptocurrency wallet provider Blockchain.com has raised $50 million to invest in startups, Yahoo! Finance reports citing two sources familiar with the matter. According to Yahoo! Finance, the wallet provider is in talks right now with various investors regarding raising the venture capital fund.
Thus, Blockchain.com wants to re-invest them in both equity and cryptos sectors. Sam Harrison, one of the biggest Blockchain.com investors, is heading up the effort, Yahoo! Finance states. Earlier Blockchain.com entered into a partnership with the Polkadot Network to accelerate the adoption and decentralization of Polkadot tokens (DOT).
Back in July, the company also launched its own cryptocurrency exchange called the PIT.
