Brazilian largest payment provider Cielo has included support for cryptos on its point-of-sale (PoS) devices, Yahoo! Finance reports.

Soon, Cielo clients will reportedly be able to send cryptocurrencies to devices via a QR code. In order to perform transactions, users will need a Uzzo or Cryptohub account.

It is expected that starting from October, Cielo to go further & provide crypto transactions without the need for a PoS device.

Earlier iHodl reported that Fortaleza, the fifth-largest city in Brazil, will allow its residents to use bitcoin to pay for their transport tickets by the end of the year.
