Hedera Hashgraph, an enterprise platform based on blockchain, has just announced it plans to publicly release the beta version of its mainnet, the company reported yesterday.
Starting next September 16, any developer will be able to create an account and launch dApps on Hedera platform.
In addition, the company will also start to distribute HBAR, its native token, to the investors who participated in the token's SAFT, during which the firm attracted $124M. This distribution program will last for 15 years.
Mance Harmon, co-founder and CEO of Hedera Hashgraph, has said:
"With Open Access, we are excited to welcome any and all to join the hundreds of third-party developers already building decentralized applications on our platform."
He added the platform will offer 3 different services after its launch:
- A cryptocurrency;
- smart contracts;
- file services.
Recently it has been known that popular aircraft maker Boeing has joined the project council and become its 10th member.
