Ranked 9th on the list of largest banks in the United States by assets, PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., has embraced the Ripple technology, FinTech Futures reports.

However, at press time, FinTech Futures has not provided the announcement with a reputable source from the PNC Group.

As it states, PNC Treasury Management has added RippleNet technology into its cross-border payments, so clients in the U.S. can receive payments from an overseas without any limitations, instantly and transparently.

Previously iHodl reported that Bank of America created a payment system based on Ripple's distributed ledger technology.

Earlier Ripple also announced it agreed to enter into a strategic partnership with MoneyGram, one of the world’s largest money transfer companies.
