Telegram is about to launch public testing of the TON blockchain platform (Telegram Open Network) on September 1, iHodl Russia reports citing one of the TON investors.
During the public test, the node code and instructions for installing it should appear in the public domain.
It is expected that Telegram will post the node code and detailed documentation for its installation in public access, which will allow any developer to create their own TON blockchain node.
Earlier iHodl reported that Telegram should launch a working blockchain network by October 31. Otherwise, the company will be forced to return money that it had raised through a private investment round to investors.
