Libra Association has initiated a bug bounty program that is intended to strengthen the security of the blockchain.

As part of the Libra Bug Bounty program, researchers can report bugs, privacy and security issues, and vulnerabilities.

It is expected that the program will help Libra fix as many errors as possible in the structure and implementation of the blockchain.

Payouts will reportedly scale up to $10,000 for critical issues on the testnet.

Libra will launch the bounty program later this year.

Earlier iHodl reported that cryptocurrency exchange Binance plans to roll out an open blockchain project called Venus which is designed to be a Libra killer.
