Button Wallet, a popular crypto wallet, has just launched a new feature that allows Telegram users to trade gram tokens on its test network, Forbes reported yesterday.

The wallet will reportedly give 6.6 tokens grams, Telegram's native token, for free to all the users that activate their wallet.

The launch of this new feature is just another effort to bring cryptocurrencies closer to the 300 million users of the Russian instant messaging application.

Alex Safonov, co-founder and CEO of Button Wallet, said:

"Cryptos' biggest obstacle is mass adoption and what we've created will help people comfortable with trading cryptocurrency without using real money."

Button Wallet supports bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin, among other cryptos.

Ihodl reported in May that Telegram had officially launched its test client for its TON blockchain. While in July we reported that Telegram's tokens would be sold at three times their ICO price.
