Popular blockchain-based web browser Brave has just expanded its tipping feature to Reddit and Vimeo, the platform announced last August 21 on its official Twitter account.

From now on, browser users will be able to tip BAT tokens to other users of these platforms as a reward for their contributions.

Brave already added this functionality to Twitter just a few weeks ago.

Brave users can now tip Basic Attention Token, the platform's native token, to Twitter, Vimeo and Reddit users. To do so, they only have to click on a button that appears just below the users' posts.

The idea of rewarding other users for their participation in these platforms is not new. Vimeo launched back in 2012 Tip Jar, a functionality that allowed its users to receive donations via credit card or PayPal, however, the feature was cancelled in 2015.

Ihodl reported in July about Brave's plans to add Reddit to its tipping feature.
