South Korean tech giant Samsung has just added bitcoin support to Blockchain Keystore, its online store for decentralized applications (dApps).
Until now, Samsung's dApps store was only compatible with ethereum's blockchain. However, according to the information available on Samsung's site for developers, it now supports bitcoin's blockchain as well as Klaytn's, which has been developed by messaging service Kakao.
However, the service is only compatible with certain devices - Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+, S10 5G, Note10 and Note10+ - and is only available in 7 countries - Canada, Germany, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, the USA and the UK.
Just a few days ago Ihodl reported that Samsung had added new services to its blockchain ecosystem: "Jupiter," an analytical dApp based on Microsoft's Azure architecture that uses TrustVerse's Artificial Intelligence tech, and "Mars," a crypto wallet compatible with QR codes that allows its users to make crypto transfers using QR codes.
